Falls can be prevented with an early alert to caregiver!

With an early alert to a caregiver in the home, when an individual is getting to their feet, an alert is sent to a remote caregiver pager or location to let the caregiver know when they are needed.

  • Passive alerts enable the caregiver to be alerted remotely when weight is removed or applied to sensor pads. The at-risk patient may or may not be aware an alert was sent but will get assistance before walking alone.

Falling is dangerous for seniors who have weak, brittle bones and may not be able to get up on their own. If assistance is given to high risk seniors, falls can be prevented.

An early alert system is key. Using different types of alerts, the appropriate systems can be customized for your loved one to age in place. Falls are not a normal part of aging and are considered a preventable injury by the CDC.

  • Active alerts enable your at-risk patient to call for help if they are willing and able to do so. Call buttons with pagers are very basic, easy to use and affordable.
