Fall Prevention for the Elderly

Help Them Before They Fall!

Smart is committed to helping caregivers prevent falls and wandering by supplying early alerts for caregivers. Specifically, we have tools like fall prevention alarms to keep loved ones safe. Call us, or your distributor, if you would like additional guidance.

How Our Quiet Fall Prevention Products Work:

Our fall prevention alarms and exit alarm products are simple and easy-to-use. Smart products ensure the caregiver is notified when residents try to exit the bed or wander. Notifications can be sent quietly by pager. More audible alarms can also be sent by bed or chair exit alarm. Also, the hallway monitor or central monitoring unit sends alerts to a remote location. In addition, floor mats are placed next to the bed or doorway to prevent exits.

Smart Caregiver specializes in fall prevention products. These also include mobility monitoring, anti-wandering and quiet fall prevention solutions. Smart’s products prevent wandering of memory care residents who may have dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. In addition, others are designed to help prevent falls of residents, patients or loved ones who are at high risk for falls. Most of our devices are available in cordless models.
